Just watched first episode of the prequel series to Spartacus - Blood and Sand and its as good if not better than the first series.

It traces the rise of the house of Batiatus and Crixxus and episode 1 was awesome ! Must Watch !!

A prequel you say ?? why not season two ?? Well it was filmed due to Andy Whitfield ( Spartacus ) Having cancer and as all the cast was contracted they wanted to keep the series going so did a prequel not including Spartacus until he recovers.
